Men’s Basketball Travels to Stony Brook on Thursday

STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Brown men's basketball team (1-4) will travel to Stony Brook (3-1) on Thursday, tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. inside Stony Brook Arena.
Scott Cordischi and Russ Tyler '71 will bring you the action live on the Brown Varsity Network, fans can access the Brown Varsity Network via the Varsity Network app, or BrownBears.com. The game will also be broadcast live on FloCollege.

Men's Basketball Head Coaching Chair Mike Martin '04 picked up his 100th career win at the Pizzitola Sports Center as Brown earned a 68-49 win over Holy Cross for its first win of the 2025-26 season. Isaiah Langham led the way offensively with a team-high 18 points, Adrian Uchidiuno scored a career high 16 points off the bench.
N'famara Dabo recorded his second-straight double-double and third this season with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The Bears outscored the Crusaders 22-7 on points from turnovers.
Scouting Brown
Langham was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Monday, the Stoughton, Mass. native has scored in double figures in three-straight games and is averaging 17.0 points per game over this stretch.
Jeremiah Jenkins leads the Ivy League in total assists (31), assists per game (6.2), total steals (49), and steals per game (2.2). The New Britain, Conn. native has accumulated four or more assists in all five games this season.
Dabo's 3.20 blocks per game and 16 total blocks both lead the Ivy League, his blocks per game ranks ninth nationally and his total blocks ranks fifth nationally. Dabo's three double-doubles ranks fifth nationally.
As a team, Brown ranks 19th with 6.2 blocks per game.
Scouting Stony Brook
Stony Brook's lone loss of the season came at Yale (Nov. 15), the Seawolves are 3-0 at Stony Brook Arena this season.
Erik Pratt leads the Seawolves with 19.0 points per game, the graduate student is shooting 47.7 percent from the floor in three games played.
As a team, Stony Brook is shooting 46.0 percent from the floor while holding its opponents to 37.3 percent.
History
The all-time series between Brown and Stony Brook is tied at five. The Bears have won two-straight games against the Seawolves and are 3-3 under Martin.
