
Men’s Water Polo Set to Host MIT and No. 17 Harvard This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's water polo team (10-4, 1-2 NWPC) will welcome MIT (5-10, 1-2 NWPC) and No. 17 Harvard (8-6, 3-0 NWPC) on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the Katherine Moral Coleman Aquatics Center.
Brown's contest against Harvard will serve as the team's Pink Out Game, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Bears will start the day off by facing the Engineers at 10 a.m. The second game against the Crimson will begin at 6 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Brown closed out last weekend's competition with a 1-2 record, picking up their lone win against LIU 18-9, on Saturday. The Bears dropped their final two games of the weekend against then-no. 12 Princeton on Saturday, and Iona on Sunday.
Ilias Stothart leads the Bears with 60 goals this season, as Dominik Balla has the second most goals with 26. In goal, Dimitrios Kratimenos has made 67 saves this season.
Next weekend, the Bears will host the Harvard Invite as they will welcome George Washington on Saturday, Oct. 18, before welcoming Wagner and Salem on Sunday, Oct. 19.
