Men's Water Polo Announces 2026 Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown Director of Water Polo Felix Mercado has announced the men's water polo 2026 schedule. The Bears will 20 home games on the season, including kicking off the year with the Bruno Classic.
Brown will start the Bruno Classic on Friday, August 28 with games against Pacific and California Baptist. The Bears will also play Wagner, UC Davis, Gannon and Air Force over the rest of the tournament.
Brown's next home weekend will be on September 27-28 when the Bears host Connecticut College, Concordia, Johns Hopkins and Wheaton as part of the Bruno Invite. The Bears also host part of the Harvard Invite (Oct. 16-17) with games against Salem, Pomona-Pitzer, Navy and UC Merced.
The Bears' first road trip of the year will also be its first NWPC game of the season as Brown makes the trip to Iona on Sept. 12. Brown has two West Coast trips this season, the first being in Fullerton, Calif., (Sept. 18-19) against Biola, Fresno Pacific, Cal State Fullerton and California Lutheran. The Bears will head to Santa Clara on Oct. 23-24 to take on San Jose State, Santa Clara and Pepperdine.
NWPC kicks into high gear on Oct. 3 as Brown plays four-straight league road games, facing off against LIU (Oct. 3), Princeton (Oct. 4), MIT and Harvard (Oct. 10).
The Bears close out the year with six-straight home games, starting against Wheaton on Oct. 30. Brown then plays five-straight NWPC games at home against Harvard and MIT (Oct. 31), Iona (Nov. 7) and LIU and Princeton (Nov. 8).
The 2026 NWPC Tournament will be held at Harvard from Nov. 20-22.
