
Bears Breakdown: Princeton & Penn

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown will hit the road this weekend for two Ivy League contests against Princeton and Penn on Sunday, February 2. The Bears are coming off of two losses in dual competition, dropping contests to Cornell (35-3) and Binghamton (18-17) on January 25.
As the team aims to get back on track, here is the probable lineup for this weekend (with overall and dual records):
125 - Jared Brunner (2-13, 1-4)
133 - Jacob Joyce (12-3, 5-0) or Hunter Adrian (3-4, 0-0)
141 - Ian Oswalt (1-3, 0-1) or Joey Iamunno (10-9, 1-3)
149 - Austin McBurney (2-11, 0-3) or Ethan Mojena (8-7, 0-2)
157 - No. 33 Blake Saito (8-2, 3-2)
165 - Keegan Rothrock (6-7, 1-4) or Harrison Trahan (8-5, 0-0)
174 - Drew Clearie (4-9, 1-4) or Connor O'Donnell (6-3, 0-0)
184 - No. 27 Drew Reall (10-10, 3-1)
197 - Alex Hamrick (3-8, 0-0) or Thomas Sandoval (6-9, 2-3)

Jacob Joyce (133) is coming off of a 2-0 performance at the dual competition against Cornell and Binghamton, while nationally recognized wrestlers such as Blake Saito (157) and Andrew Reall (184) look to continue their ascent up the rankings. Both competitors went 1-1 on January 25, with losses to Cornell and victories over Binghamton. Alex Semenenko (285), who leads the team in wins this season, also went 1-1 at the last dual competition. Semenenko pinned Charlie Tibbits (Binghamton) to remain near the top of the NCAA leaderboard in pinfalls, with 9 on the season.
OPPONENT PREVIEW
The first matches of the day will kick off at 12pm in New Jersey against the Princeton Tigers. Princeton is 5-6 overall this season and their only Ivy League action so far came in a 34-3 victory over Columbia on January 26. The Tigers are still searching for their first home win of the season, as they are currently 0-3 with losses to Rutgers (32-7), West Virginia (27-12), and Rider (23-19).

While not officially ranked in the Top 25, Penn has received 11 votes in the latest NWCA Coaches Poll on January 26.Â
