Recapping Non-Conference Play
The Bears are entering Ivy League action with a 3-3-1 record. Brown opened the 2024 season with a 2-1 win over Lehigh. They went on to post two five goal wins over Boston University (5-1) and Stonehill (5-3). The Bears have combined for 12 goals in their three wins.
Brown lost to Maryland, UMass Amherst, and #18 Providence. All were hard fought battles that ended with only a one goal differential.
The Bears had one draw so far this season against Fairleigh Dickinson University (0-0).
Brown has yet to suffer a home loss at Stevenson Pincince Field and head into Ivy play with a 3-0-1 record at home.
Scouting the Bears (3-3-1)
- The Bears lost their last game to #18 Providence with a final score of 2-1. The Bears enter this matchup looking to earn their fourth win of the season, and first conference win.
- Harri Sprofera posted his second goal of the season in Tuesday's tilt with #18 Providence.
- Mads Stistrup Petersen had the assist on Sprofera's goal, earning him his fourth of the season.
- The Big Green won their last game 2-1 on Tuesday over Merrimack.
- Dartmouth has totaled eight goals throughout their three wins.
- Trenton Blake leads the Big Green with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points.
- The Bears and Big Green most recently met last season at Stevenson-Pincince Field where the Bears earned a 1-0 win.
- Brown has a 4-10-1 record against Dartmouth, with the matchup dating back to 2008.
