Men's Soccer Travels to Dartmouth to Begin Ivy League Play

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown men's soccer team will begin their Ivy League play when they head to Dartmouth to take on the Big Green on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Recapping Non-Conference Play
The Bears are entering Ivy League action with a 3-3-1 record. Brown opened the 2024 season with a 2-1 win over Lehigh. They went on to post two five goal wins over Boston University (5-1) and Stonehill (5-3). The Bears have combined for 12 goals in their three wins.

Brown lost to Maryland, UMass Amherst, and #18 Providence. All were hard fought battles that ended with only a one goal differential.

The Bears had one draw so far this season against Fairleigh Dickinson University (0-0).

Brown has yet to suffer a home loss at Stevenson Pincince Field and head into Ivy play with a 3-0-1 record at home.

Scouting the Bears (3-3-1)

The Bears lost their last game to #18 Providence with a final score of 2-1. The Bears enter this matchup looking to earn their fourth win of the season, and first conference win.
Harri Sprofera posted his second goal of the season in Tuesday's tilt with #18 Providence.
Mads Stistrup Petersen had the assist on Sprofera's goal, earning him his fourth of the season.

Scouting the Big Green (3-3-1)

The Big Green won their last game 2-1 on Tuesday over Merrimack.
Dartmouth has totaled eight goals throughout their three wins.
Trenton Blake leads the Big Green with four goals and three assists for a total of 11 points.

History

The Bears and Big Green most recently met last season at Stevenson-Pincince Field where the Bears earned a 1-0 win.
Brown has a 4-10-1 record against Dartmouth, with the matchup dating back to 2008.
