PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Five members of the Brown men's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. Receiving the honor were Lorenzo Amaral, Iyke Dafe, Stefano D'Agostini, Mads Stistrup Petersen, and James Snaith.
To be considered, a student-athlete must have participated in 90% of the team's matches played or must start in at least 66% of the contests, have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), and reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
Dafe, D'Agostini, Stistrup Petersen, and Snaith all earn their first CSC Academic All-District nods, with Amaral earning his second-straight recognition.
Amaral closed out the 2025 season with two goals and five assists for nine points. He led the team in scoring, tied with Stistrup Petersen. Amaral earned his second-straight All-Ivy recognition at the end of the campaign, and was tabbed to the Second Team. Last year, Amaral was named First Team All-Ivy and received CSC Academic All-District honors.
Dafe receives recognition after playing a key role in Brown's back line this season. He appeared in 14 matches for the Bears, making 13 starts.
D'Agostini remained a strong defender throughout the season, playing and starting in 10 matches for the Bears. He netted the match-winning goal against Columbia on Nov. 1.
Stistrup Petersen rounded out the year with three goals and three assists for nine points. He sits alongside Amaral leading the Bears in scoring for the 2025 season. Stistrup Petersen was named Second Team All-Ivy last year.
First Team All-Ivy honoree Snaith remained an integral part of Brown's Starting XI this season. He appeared in all 15 matches for Brown, starting in 14 of them.
