
Men’s Soccer Records 0-0 Draw Against FDU

The Bears started the first half strong with two shots on goal within the first minute of the game. Jamin Gogo Peters attempted the first shot at 0:32, with FDU's Spencer King making the save. Just 10 seconds later Levi Pillar fired a shot at King who made the second save. Goalkeeper Henrik Weiper faced a total of zero shots on goal in the first half.
Three yellow cards were issued throughout the first half. FDU's Damian Naumoski earned the first at 19:40. Jack Cloherty and Tanner Barry were served yellow cards just 56 seconds apart.
As the second half began, goalkeeper Henrik Weiper made a diving save to keep the Bears in the game. He tallied five saves in the second half, holding off the Knights from scoring.
In the 68th minute Mads Stistrup-Petersen had the opportunity to give the Bears the upperhand. He took a shot to the lower left side of the net that was saved by King.
The Bears were given three more yellow cards in the duration of the second half, while FDU was given one. Both teams had a total of eight yellow cards given to them by the end of the matchup.
The two teams battled it out for 90 minutes, but were ultimately unable to find the back of the net.
The Bears are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Amherst, Massachusetts to take on UMass Amherst at 1 p.m.
