
Women’s Tennis Announces Class of 2028

Lucie Schmidhauser, head coach of Brown women's tennis has announced the incoming class of 2028.
"I am excited to introduce our incoming freshman class. Sari, Bella and Ali bring competitive experience, winning attitude and enthusiasm to our team. They are all hard workers who love the game of tennis and are excited about progressing their tennis games while competing for Brown. Our team is returning with an experienced group of players for next year and the addition of the dynamic freshmen class will make our team even stronger," said Head Coach Lucie Schmidhauser.

Bella Hu
West Chester, Pennsylvania | The Baldwin School
Ranked No. 67 nationally by Tennis Recruiting Network. Bella's favorite professional tennis players are Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka.
Why Brown?: "I chose Brown for its open and accepting community, qualities I first encountered through my interactions with the coaches and the team. It was really important for me to find a place where I could develop myself and my passions in a positive environment and I believe that Brown will give me those opportunities and more."
Ali Maguy
Moraga, California | Campolindo High School
Why Brown?: "I chose Brown because of the ability for me to explore my many academic interests through the open curriculum. Additionally, I was drawn to the close-knit and driven culture of the team and the entire Brown community."
Sari Woo
Ann Arbor, Michigan | Skyline High School | Blue Chip Player Development
Ranked No. 23 nationally by Tennis Recruiting Network, earning herself Blue Chip status. Sari's favorite professional tennis player is Ons Jabeur.
Why Brown?: "I chose Brown because I love how passionate and supportive the coaches and the team are. I also love Brown's collaborative and friendly atmosphere, its diverse learning opportunities, and the ability to explore multiple interests because of the open curriculum."
