Baseball Hits the Road for Three at Yale

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown baseball team will hit the road for the final time in Ivy League play this season when they travel to Yale for a three-game weekend series. First pitch of game one on Saturday is set for 11:30 a.m. with Sunday's series finale slated for noon. All games will be streamed live on ESPN+.

SCOUTING BROWN (8-24, 3-12 Ivy)
- Outfielder Nathan Brasher ranks sixth in Ivy League play with a .371 batting average and has 18 steals in 22 attempts this season. He will carry a six-game hitting streak and a 17-game on-base streak into this weekend.
- First baseman Mark Henshon leads the league with 18 walks in Ivy league play and is third on Brown among qualified players with an overall on-base percentage of .396. He had a 24-game on-base streak snapped in Sunday's finale against Columbia.
- Shortstop DJ Dillehay leads the Bears with four home runs, three triples, and 25 RBIs this season.
SCOUTING YALE (13-20, 7-8 Ivy)
- Yale is coming off a 7-1 defeat to Stonehill in a non-league matchup on Tuesday.
- The Bulldogs dropped two out of three last weekend at Cornell and previously won two of three at Columbia.
- Yale boasts the league's top pitching staff with a 4.45 ERA in Ivy League games. Defensively, the team's .978 fielding percentage ranks second in the league.
- Colton Shaw (39) and Reid Easterly (37) rank third and fourth, respectively, in the league in strikeouts in Ivy League play.
- Closer Tate Evans is tied for the league lead with six saves this season, holding a 3.42 ERA and striking out 47 over 26.1 IP.
- Yale is hitting .257 as a team with Alec Atkinson hitting .322 and posting 19 steals in 21 attempts.
- Davis Hanson is batting .301 with a team-leading 11 doubles and six homers.
