Women's Water Polo Begins CWPA Tournament Against Bucknell

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo will take on Bucknell in the first round of the CWPA Tournament on Friday.
The game will begin at 6 p.m. at Harvard and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Brown enters the game as the No. 4 seed in the tournament after posting a 4-6 record in conference play. Brown swept Bucknell in the two meetings this year.
Ella Palmer and Madeleine Poissonnier were rewarded for their strong play this season as Palmer was tabbed First Team All-Conference and Poissonnier earned a spot on the Second Team for the second-straight year.
The Bears have four goal scorers with at least 30 goals on the season, led by Palmer's 47. She is followed by Claire Poissonnier (35) and Aubrie Anderson and Emily Suong (34).
Cleo Washer leads Brown with 42 assists and Sophie Golub is second on the squad with 29.
In goal, Roxanne Hazuka has made 179 saves to lead the Bears.
