Poissonnier, Okafo Named to CWPA All-Tournament Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo's Madeleine Poissonnier and Somto Okafo were named to the CWPA All-Tournament Team, the association announced on Thursday (April 16).
Poissonnier and Okafo led Brown to a fourth-place finish in the tournament, with the Bears coming up just short in an overtime loss to Harvard in the semifinals. Poissonnier was named First Team All-Tournament and Okafo was named Second Team.
For the tournament, Poissonnier finished with three goals and five assists. The senior also added four steals and two blocks, while drawing four exclusions.
Okafo started all three games in net for the Bears and finished the weekend with 22 saves. The sophomore allowed just 16 goals and made three steals.
