Women's Lacrosse Hosts BU on Saturday Afternoon

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â No. 25 Brown women's lacrosse is set to host Boston University at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears
- Brown is coming off a 20-9 win at home over Bryant for the Ocean State Cup to advance its record to 4-1.
- Senior Mia Mascone once again led the team with a career-high eight goals and added three assists. Junior Greta Criqui had four goals, while senior Leah Caputo finished with three, senior Julia Ford had two, and senior Maddie Joyce and juniors Annie Burton and Jessie Bakes all had one goal.
- Freshman Tara Reilly played the final 45 minutes in goal and tallied six saves to preserve the Brown win.
- Mascone leads the team with 23 goals and 33 points, while junior Annie Burton has four goals and a team-leading 14 assists for 18 points, junior Greta Criqui is second with 17 goals, and Ford had 10 goals and three assists, while Ahn has five goals and six assists.
- The Bears are outscoring opponents, 81-57, and lead opponents in ground balls (98-59), caused turnovers (47-29), and draw controls (85-69).
- Brown's .953Â clearing percentage ranks sixth in the nation.
- BU is 4-1 on the season with wins against Merrimack (17-6), New Hampshire (18-14), Iona (18-13), and Stonehill (16-15). The one loss was to No. 3 Boston College (23-5).
- Sophomore Elle Stevenson leads the team with 17 goals and 21 points, while junior Hannah Tillier has 13 goals and four assists and freshman Reilly Walsh has eight goals and three assists.
- Walsh was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after a five goal, three assist week against Iona and Stonehill.
- In goal, senior Natalie Aiosa has a 14.46 goals against average and .395 save percentage in five starts.
