Gymnastics to Host Senior Meet against Bridgeport on Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's gymnastics team will host its final home meet of the season on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. when it welcomes the University of Bridgeport to the Pizzitola Sports Center for a dual meet. The Bears will honor their seven-member senior class of 2024 following the meet, as well as welcome back alumnae from throughout program history as part of Alumnae Day.

SENIOR MEET
• Brown gymnastics will honor its seven-member senior class of 2024 with a post-meet ceremony on Sunday. The team's seven seniors - Asta Farrell, Lauren Kramer, Ali Lowe, Lauren McKeown, Lara Swords, McKenna Weiner, and Angela Xing - all joined the program for the 2020-21 season, which was canceled due to the pandemic.
LAST WEEK VS. UB
• Brown is coming off a second place showing last weekend at the Bridgeport Quad Meet, with the host Purple Knights taking first place at 195.025.
• Brown had eight gymnasts set career-highs last week:
Vault- Bedell, Ford and Dewar; Bars- Liebhardt, Marcus, McKeown, Weiner; Floor- Xing (see meet notes for full career-highs).
HOME COOKING
• Brown has defeated all 11 of its opponents at home dating back to the start of the 2023 season.
