
Baseball Drops Series Finale at Penn

Reece Rappoli went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, DJ Dillehay had two hits and an RBI, and Nathan Brasher added an RBI double.
Brown got on the board first in the second inning, putting three straight runners aboard with two outs. Charles Crawford and Andrew Hanlon drew back-to-back walks, before Rappoli singled through the right side to plate Crawford for the 1-0 lead.
Penn got the run back in the bottom of the second inning to tie the score on back-to-back one-out doubles, then added three more runs on one hit in the third to take a 4-1 lead.Bears jump on the board first on this RBI single with two outs by Rappoli!

Brown pulled within one with single runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. Quinn Rooks pinch hit to lead off the inning and was hit by a pitch, then scored on a double by Brasher down the right field line. In the seventh, the Bears used some more two-out magic as Mark Henshon walked, went to second on a wild pitch, then came in to score on a single through the left side by Dillehay.

Penn got an insurance run in the bottom of the seventh on a two-out home run by Wyatt Hensler, his league-leading 10th of the season.
Brown brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the ninth as Dillehay singled and Logan Meusy was hit by a pitch, but back-to-back strikeouts ended the Bears' rally.
Brown will return to action this Tuesday at Attanasio Family Field at Murray Stadium when they face Stonehill. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
