Gymnastics to Host Yale for Rumble & Tumble on Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown gymnastics team will co-host the Rumble & Tumble on Sunday afternoon as they welcome Yale for a dual meet at the Pizzitola Sports Center. The event will be a side-by-side event, along with the Brown wrestling team who will host Princeton for a simultaneous match at 1 p.m.

Meet Notes: Brown
- Brown will host Yale for the Rumble & Tumble on Sunday, alongside the wrestling team who will take on Princeton. It is the first time Brown is hosting the event since the 2022 season.
- Brown took down Alaska Anchorage and Southern Connecticut State in last weekend's home-opening tri-meet. The Bears have now defeated each of their last 10 opponents dating back to the start of last season.
- Sophomore Jessica Lin made her collegiate debut last weekend on beam and tied for the second highest score in program history at 9.900. Freshman Emily Ford posted a 9.875, which sits tied with Olympian Alicia Sacramone for fourth on the program's all-time list.
- Brown gymnasts have been named the GEC Specialist of the Week each of the last two weeks. Sophomore Jessica Lin earned the honor last week on January 31 after tying for the second-highest beam score in program history at 9.900. Junior Julia Bedell was voted the GEC Specialist of the Week on January 24 after scoring 9.850 on vault, tying her career-high, which ranks tied for fourth all-time in program history. She then finished tied for second overall on floor with a score of 9.900, a mark that is tied for seventh in program history.
- In the January 21 season opener at Oregon State, the Bears posted a score of 192.950, their highest score in a season-opening meet since at least the 2009 season. It was the second consecutive year Brown traveled to Oregon State, where head coach Brittany Harris competed collegiately.
