PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior Naya Cardoza of the Brown women's soccer team was selected to the Jamaican National Team.
Cardoza was also selected to represent the Jamaican National Team last spring. This time around, Cardoza will be participating in the National Team camp from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2, Jamaica will take on South Africa during the camp.
During the 2024 season, Naya Cardoza picked up the second Honorable Mention All-Ivy honor of her career after starting and appearing in 12 games this season. Cardoza played all 90 minutes in eight out of her 12 appearances.
Cardoza's two goals this season came at opportune times for Brown, her first goal of the season was a game-tying tally at Minnesota (Sept. 8) in the 86th minute. Cardoza's second goal of the season came in the 78th minute against Cornell (Oct. 26), the game-winning tally sent the Bears to the Ivy League Tournament.
