Women's Crew Closes Out Fall Season at Foot of the Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Brown women's crew team wrapped up their fall season at the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 9. The Bears had four boats competing in the Varsity 8, and one boat in the Varsity 4.

The Bears had a strong finish in the Varsity 8 race, with their 'A' boat finishing in first place with a time of 13:47.3. Brown's next boat to finish was their 'B' boat, in fifth place. The boat finished with a time of 14:19.7. The Bears' 'C' boat placed eighth with a final time of 14:41.4. Brown's 'D' boat finished just two places behind their 'C' boat with a time of 14:47.8.

In the Varsity 4, the Bears finished in second place out of three boats.

The Foot of the Charles marks the end of the Bears' fall season.
