Crew Participates in Capture the Flag for Mental Health Awareness
11/18/2025 12:25:00 PM | Men's Crew, Women's Crew
On Saturday, Nov. 15, Brown Crew showed up in support of mental health awareness.
Brown Women's and Brown Men's Crew played a friendly but fierce game of capture the flag at India Point Park. Team Black vs. Team White, who wore their new t-shirt uniforms celebrating mental health awareness.
Both teams showed solid endurance, but many offensive attacks were thwarted not by defense, but by throwing and catching skills. Ultimately, after two ten-minute halves, White pulled ahead in a final score of 12 to 8.
Several of our Bruno women are members of Bruno Cares, an athlete-run mental health support group committed to helping athletes through all of their endeavors here at Brown.
We look forward to future events supporting mental health and other issues our student-athletes face. We are truly thankful for mental health support and awareness and will continue to play our part! Go Bruno!!!
