Women's Swimming & Diving Earns Seven Wins in Season-Opening Meet Against Harvard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's swimming and diving fell to Harvard, 164-136, to open the season on Friday. The Bears picked up seven wins on the afternoon.
Brown started the afternoon with the team of Jenna Reznicek, Gillian Tu, Zehra Bilgin and Audrey Chung winning the 200 medley relay (1:42.20).
Crystal Yuen picked up her first-collegiate win in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:50.83. That was followed by a win by Reznicek in the 100 backstroke (54.38).
Tu picked up a win in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in 1:02.96 and Bilgin won the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:00.27.
In the 50 freestyle, Audrey Chung earned her first win of her career with a time of 23.75 and Livia Venditti also had her first-career win in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:58.66.
Brown's best finish on the diving boards was a third-place finish by Elena Yeh in the 3-meter.

Brown will travel to Yale on Saturday for a meet with the Bulldogs beginning at 11 a.m.
