Field Hockey Hosts Penn Saturday for Senior Day

PROVIDENCE – The Bears (8-7, 3-3 Ivy) host Penn (4-11, 2-4 Ivy) Saturday, Nov. 2 for Senior Day as they close out the regular season.
The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. with a Senior Day Celebration set for pregame. There are seven athletes who will be recognized: Julia Hitti, Imogen Govan, Catie Summers, Katie McCallum, Mikayla Walsh, Ellie Neel and Ella Edmonds.
The game will be streaming on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- A powerful trio sits at the front of Brown's offense: Mia Karine Myklebust leads Bears scoring with eight goals, Katie McCallum leads with 19 points and Lucy Adams leads with 10 assists. Adams sits in Ivy 15th place recording 0.63 assists per game.
- Julia Hitti anchors the back, recording three defensive saves this season. She is in Ivy 13th place for DS.
- In net, goalkeeper Kylee Del Monte has started all 15 games for the Bears and holds a 0.647 save percentage and records 1.97 goals against average.
- The Bears have scored 39 goals so far this season, the most goals scored in a single season since 2000 (50 goals).
- Brown is ranked 1st in the Ivy with 9.81 penalty corners per game.
- Julia Ryan leads the Quaker offense producing six goals and six assists for a combined 18 points. Not far behind, Livia Loozen records five goals and 12 points.
- Meghan McGinley records two defensive saves. Close behind, Philine Klas recorded one defensive save.
- Defensively, Penn allows 2.4 goals against per game. Goaltender Ruby de Frees has started 15 games for Penn and holds a .629 save percentage recording 2.74 goals against average.
- Saturday's meeting will mark the 47th meeting between the Bears and Quakers.
- Penn holds a 35-8 edge in the series; three ties exist.
- Penn has won the last 10 games and currently hold a 12-game series win streak (includes 1 OT win). Most recently, Penn recorded a 2-1 win over the Bears last year.
