Lucy Adams Named to NFHCA Division I Senior Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior Lucy Adams of the Brown field hockey team was named to the NFHCA Division I Senior Team, the organization announced on Thursday.
Adams is the third Bear in program history to earn this honor, she joins former teammates Imogen Govan '25 and Julia Hitti '25 on this list.
Adams is one of seven Ivy League selections, joining Olivia Galiotos (Dartmouth), Bronte-May Brough (Harvard), Kitty Chapple (Harvard), Beth Yeager (Princeton), Sophia Lefranc (Penn), and Poppy Beales (Yale).Â
The Andover, Mass. native helped lead Brown to its second-straight Ivy League Tournament and its second-straight season with a winning record in Ivy League play for the first time since the 1986 and 1987 seasons.
Adams finished her career third in program history in assists (27) and tied for 11th in points (55). Her 11 assists in 2025 and 2024 are the fourth-most in a single season in program history, 11 assists was a career high.
Adams was named First Team All-Ivy for the third time in her career, she became the third player in program history to do so. She joined Lauren Becker '87 and Christine Monteiro '93 as the only Bears to accomplish this feat. Adams also becomes the fourth player in program history to be named All-Ivy on four separate occasions, she joins Monteiro, Julia Hitti '25, and Lizzie Buza '04.
Adams was also named to the Ivy League Tournament All-Tournament Team.
