Lucy Adams Named NFHCA First Team All-American

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior Lucy Adams of the Brown field hockey team has been named an NFHCA First Team All-American, the organization announced on Dec. 16.
Adams becomes the first two-time All-American in program history and the second First Team All-American in program history. Adams joins Tara Mounsey '01 on this list.
For the Bears, this is the first time the program has had an All-American in back-to-back seasons.
Adams also became the first player in program history to earn All-Region honors four times after being named First Team All-Northeast Region in December. The Andover, Mass. native also became the first player to be named to the First Team three times.
Adams was also named First Team All-Ivy for the third time in November, she became the third player in program history to do so. She also became the fourth player in program history to be named All-Ivy on four separate occasions.
The Andover, Mass. native also was the third Bear in program history to be named to the NFHCA Senior Team and was also named to the Ivy League Tournament All-Tournament Team.
Adams finished her career third in program history in assists (27) and tied for 11th in points (55). Her 11 assists in 2025 and 2024 are the fourth-most in a single season in program history, 11 assists was a career-high.
Adams was also selected to the traveling roster with the U.S. National Team for the 3 Nations Tournament from Jan. 20-24 in New Zealand.
