Men's Soccer Hosts #22 Cornell on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Brown Bears continue their Ivy League play on Saturday when they host the No. 22 Cornell Big Red at 7 p.m. at Stevenson Pincince Field.
Saturday night's matchup will serve as the team's mental health awareness game.Â
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (5-6-1) (1-3-0 Ivy)
- Brown is coming off of a big 3-1 win over the Harvard Crimson.
- Lorenzo Amaral had a four point game, posting one goal and two assists in the matchup. Amaral scored the final goal of the game with a minute left guaranteeing Brown's win.Â
- The Bears' defense applied pressure by holding Harvard to seven shots with only two landing on target.
- Jack Cloherty and Tanner Barry each recorded a goal over Harvard.
- Cornell suffered a 2-3 loss against No.12 Penn in their last game.
- The Big Red finished their last matchup with a total of 14 shots, with six landing on target.
- Cornell's Alex Harris leads the team with 12 goals and four assists for a total of 28 points.
- The Bears have a 7-5-3 record against the Big Red, going back to 2008.
- In their meeting last year, the game finished to a 1-1 draw at Cornell.
