Women's Hockey Hosts RIT on Friday and Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown women's hockey begins the new year with a home weekend series against Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday and Saturday at Meehan Auditorium.
Friday is the "Break the Ice" Mental Health Awareness game where you can support the team's efforts to break the ice around mental health, and Saturday is the Faculty & Staff Game where Brown faculty & staff can claim up to four complimentary tickets.
Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Meehan Auditorium. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears
- Brown enters the second half of the season with 6-9-1 record and 4-7-1 in the ECAC.
- The Bears last played on Dec. 10 and came away with a 4-2 victory at the University of New Hampshire.
- After falling behind, 2-0, the Bears scored four unanswered goals to steal the road win.
- Sophomore Jade Iginla, freshman Ava DeCoste, senior Maya Mangiafico and freshman Margot Norehad all found the back of the net against UNH.
- Sophomore India McDadi (6-6-12) and Iginla (7-4-11) lead the team in points.
- In goal, Senior Kaley Doyle has a 2.18 goals against average and a .924 save percentage in 14 starts.
Scouting the Tigers
- RIT is 10-7-2 on the year with a 4-4-0 record in the College Hockey America Conference
- The Tigers most recently swept a road series at St. Michael's, 7-0 and 3-0.
- Junior Kylie Aquaro leads the team and is seventh in the CHA with 17 points with six goals and 11 assists.
- Senior Emma Roland has tallied seven goals and eight assists on the year for 15 points.
- Sophomore Sophia Bellina leads the CHA with a 1.57 goals against average and a .947 save percentage.
All-Time Series
- RIT is 13-7-1 all-time against Brown. RIT swept a pair of games at the Gene Polisseni Center, 6-0 and 4-2 in 2019.
