Women's Hockey Set to Host Princeton and Quinnipiac

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Brown women's hockey is looking to halt a three-game losing streak when it hosts a home ECAC weekend against No. 12 Princeton and No. 8 Quinnipiac. The Bears enter the weekend in eighth place in the conference standings with 13.5 points. A half point ahead of ninth-place Union.

On Saturday, Brown celebrates National Girls and Women in Sports Day. There will be a postgame skate for Cub Club members.
Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Meehan Auditorium. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.
Scouting the Bears
- Sophomore India McDadi and freshman Ava DeCoste each scored for Brown in its last game against No. 3 Clarkson.
- DeCoste also picked up an assist in the game and is now up to three goals and seven assists for 10 points.
- McDadi is up to seven goals and 10 assists to lead the team with 17 points.
- Sophomore Jade Iginla is the team leader with 10 goals and has six assists for 16 points.
- Freshman Margot Norehad has recorded a point in the last four of the last six games and has six goals and five assists for 11 points.
- Senior Kaley Doyle has a 2.44 goals against average and a .922 save percentage in 18 starts this season.
- Princeton stands No. 12 in the latest USCHO and No. 12 in the latest USA Hockey/The Rink Live national rankings.
- The Tigers are sixth in the league standings with 20.5 points with four weekends to go.
- Senior Sarah Fillier enters the weekend ranked No. 1 in the nation in points per game (1.00) and No. 8 in points per game (1.53) and is is one of seven players in Division I ranked in the top eight in at least two of goals per game, assists per game, or points per game.
- Princeton has five more players with over 10 points. Sophomore Issy Wunder is second on the team with 25 points with eight goals and 17 assists.
- Quinnipiac comes into the weekend ranked No. 8 in the nation with a 21-5-1 record and 10-5-0 in the ECAC.
- The Bobcats are coming off two home losses to Colgate, 5-0, and Cornell, 4-3.
- Grad student Kate Reilly leads the team with 33 points with nine goals and 24 assists.
- Quinnipiac has 10 players with 10 or more points.
- Grad student Logan Angers has a 1.81 GAA and .936 SV%.
