Women's Soccer Hosts #13/15 Princeton Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's soccer team will play their Ivy home opener against Princeton this Saturday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
The Bears and Tigers are both 1-0 in league action and will be looking to make an early statement in the Ivy Title race.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival. There is a no re-entry policy in place for all ticketed athletic events at Brown University, once you have scanned your ticket to enter, you must remain inside the venue.
The contest will also serve as the team's Pride Game.

Scouting the Bears (5-1-2, 1-0-0 Ivy)
- Brown started Ivy play last week with a win for the fourth straight year, and the sixth time during head coach Kia McNeill's seven-season tenure.
- Sheyenne Allen had a career day against the Crimson, scoring both goals in a 2-0 victory at Harvard. She earned Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week and Brown Student-Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts.
- The Bears picked up their third straight shutout, and fifth of the season, at Harvard. Their .625 goals against average ranks them 33rd in the nation.
- In their careers against the Tigers, Brittany Raphino and Ava Seelenfreund have scored three goals each. Seelenfreund has recorded one in all three matches.
- Princeton is currently ranked 13th by the United Soccer Coaches, 15th by TopDrawerSoccer, and is sixth in the NCAA DI RPI.
- The Tigers had won three straight, which included a 3-2 win over No. 10 Georgetown, before drawing Lafayette 1-1 earlier this week.
- Princeton ranks first in the Ivy League in goals per game (2.67) and assists per game (2.78). The Tigers are tied for last in the conference in goals allowed per game (1.44).
- The Bears hold the 23-18-4 advantage over the Tigers in the all-time series, including four straight wins.
- McNeill is 5-1-0 against Princeton in her time leading the Bears.
- Last season, Brown secured the 6-1 victory on the road. Brittany Raphino scored twice, while Evelyn Calhoon, Kayla Duran, Kira Maguire, and Ava Seelenfreund all contributed one apiece.
