Women's Water Polo Hosts Connecticut College and Princeton on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo returns to action at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center with two games on Saturday.
The Bears will start the day taking on Connecticut College at 1 p.m.. Brown will close out the day with a CWPA matchup against No. 7 Princeton at 4 p.m. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
Brown will be celebrating Senior Day before the 4 p.m. game against Princeton.
ABOUT BROWN
- Brown is 20-7 overall and 2-3 in conference play entering the weekend. The Bears beat Bucknell in their last game and went 2-1 in the pool last weekend.
- Zoe King leads the Bears with 40 goals and has 14 assists and 19 steals on the year.
- Claire Pisani is second on the team with 32 goals and leads the squad with 52 ejections drawn.
- Brown has had a balanaced offense this season with six different Bears having scored at least 20 goals on the year.
- Lily Weiser leads the Bears with 33 assists and has 28 goals on the season.
- In goal, Shauna Franke leads Brown with 132 saves and was recently named to the 2023 Cutino Award Watch List.
ABOUT CONNECTICUT COLLEGE
- Connecticut College is 9-5 on the season and has won its last four games coming into the weekend.
- The Bears earned an 11-4 win over the Camels last year.
ABOUT PRINCETON
- Princeton is 23-2 on the season and is 5-0 in conference play. The Tigers beat Michigan in their last game and are on a four-game win streak since falling at UCLA
- Brown lost the first meeting to Princeton this season 12-6.
