Women's Water Polo Splits Two Games on Senior Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo split two games on Saturday as the Bears celebrated their senior class.
Brown (21-8, 2-4 CWPA) beat Connecticut College 13-4 to start the day but fell 8-5 to No. 7 Princeton to close out the games.
Brown 13, Connecticut College 4
The Bears earned a big win to start play on Saturday, jumping out to a big lead and not looking back against Connecticut College. Brown led 4-1 after the first quarter and 10-2 at halftime in the win.
Tallulah Clancy scored two goals in the first quarter and Emily Suong and Katherine Knowles each had one.
In the second, Brown had six different players score with goals coming from Claire Poissonnier, Madeleine Poissonnier, Ella Palmer, Alexandra Love, Sabrina Shiply and Marina Demas.
Demas and Lucy Gramley each scored in the third quarter and Alessandra D'Arcy scored in the fourth.
Princeton 8, Brown 5
Before the game against the Tigers, Brown honored its four seniors – Zoe King, Lily Weiser, Bryn Gioffredi and Claire Pisani.
Brown fell behind 3-0 after one quarter but picked up two goals from Ella Palmer and one from King in the second quarter to trail 4-3 at halftime.
Princeton scored twice to start the second half before Pisani and Weiser found the net to make it a one goal game again. The Tigers added two more goals late in the third quarter for the final tally.
UP NEXT
Brown will make its final road trip of the regular season as the Bears head to Ann Arbor, Michigan for games against Saint Francis, Michigan and Bucknell next weekend.
