Women's Water Polo Treks to California for Six Games

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo returns to the pool after two weeks off as the Bears will play six games in California from Saturday (March 25) to Wednesday (March 29).
Brown will begin the weekend with games against Concordia (4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT) at Claremont on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Bears will play two games at Whittier with a contest against No. 22 CSUN (3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT) and Whiiter (6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT).
The Bears will close out the trip with two games on Wednesday. The first game of the day will be at No. 9 Long Beach State (4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT) and the finale of the trip will be at No. 6 UC Irvine (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT).
ABOUT BROWN
- Brown comes into the weekend with a 14-4 record but lost its last game, a 12-5 loss to No. 14 Wagner. Before the loss to the Seahawks, Brown had won four-straight games.
- The Bears are holding steady, ranked No. 21 in the latest Varsity Top-25 Poll.
- Zoe King continues to lead the way for Brown's offense with 27 goals and has handed out 12 assists.
- Claire Pisani is second on the team with 22 goals and has drawn a team-high 37 ejections.
- Alexandra Love and Lily Weiser are third in goals for the Bears, each having scored 18 goals this season. Weiser is tops on the team with 19 assists.
- In goal, Shauna Franke has a team-high 91 saves, while Roxanne Hazuka is second on the team with 56.
