Gymnastics to Close Regular Season Sunday at UNH

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's gymnastics team will close out the regular season on Sunday afternoon with a dual meet at New Hampshire starting at 2 p.m. It will be the second straight weekend that Brown will face off against the Wildcats, after meeting in a quad meet last weekend at Maryland.

Brown – No. 59 (194.290)
ABOUT BROWN
Brown is coming off a performance where they posted a score of 194.600 last weekend in a quad meet at Maryland, their third-highest score of the season.
Brown's National Qualifying Score currently sits at 194.290, dropping their season-opening low of 191.225 and their season-high of 195.200, which they set two weeks ago in capturing the Ivy Classic title.
The Bears finished their home schedule a perfect 8-0. The team set a school record on beam back on February 5 with a 49.925. Sophomore Julia Bedell has tied the program floor record on two separate occasions (9.925).
Last weekend, the Bears posted a 48.775 on beam, their second-highest of the season, where they were led by Angela Xing and Abby Contello (9.825).
After this weekend, the Bears will set their sights on the postseason which gets underway next Saturday with the second annual GEC Championships, which will be hosted by William & Mary.
