Women's Hockey Returns Home for RPI and Union

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown women's hockey is back at Meehan Auditorium for a key ECAC weekend against RPI and Union.

The Bears are undefeated at home with a 3-0-0 record with wins over Holy Cross, Dartmouth and Harvard. RPI is receiving votes in the latest USCHO and USA Hockey polls with a 6-5-3 record, while Union is 4-9-1 and has been swept in back-to-back weekends at home against Cornell, Colgate, Clarkson and St. Lawrence.

Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Meehan Auditorium. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.

Scouting the Bears

Brown is looking to get back on track after falling last weekend to No. 3 Colgate (4-2) and No. 10 Cornell (5-1).
Senior Olivia Williamson scored her first goal of the season at Colgate with assists from senior Maya Mangiafico and junior Jess Ciarrocchi, while sophomore Jade Iginla netted her third goal of the year with a helper from goalie Kaley Doyle.
Freshman Sam Broz found the back of the net for the second time this season at Cornell.
Sophomore India McDadi leads the team with five goals and adds one assist for six points.
Iginla (3 goals, 2 assists) and Broz (2 goals, 3 assists) each have five points.
Senior Cassidy Pierskiak has two goals on the year.
in goal, Senior Kaley Doyle has a 2.37 goals against average and a .921 save percentage in seven starts.

Scouting the Engineers

RPI is receiving one vote each in the USCHO and USA Hockey poll.
The Engineers are 2-4-0 in the ECAC with wins over Harvard and Dartmouth and losses against Colagte, Cornell, St. Lawrence and Clarkson.
Senior Ellie Kaiser leads the team with six goals and adds six assists for 12 points.
Grad student Amanda Rampado has a 2.30 goals against average and .923 save percentage in 12 starts in net.

Scouting the Garnet Chargers

Union is 1-4-1 in the ECAC with a win over Harvard and a tie at Dartmouth.
Sophomore Riley Walsh leads the team with seven goals and seven assists for 14 points.
Senior Emily King has two goals and seven assists, and freshman Maddie Leaney has five goals and three assists.
Junior Sophie Matsoukas has a 3.45 goals against average and a .881 save percentage in 11 starts in goal.
