DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Entering the week, Nana Owusu-Anane is one of 21 players in NCAA Division I with two double-doubles. The junior posted 20 points and 11 rebounds at Colgate (11/6), and finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds versus Loyola University Maryland (11/11). Owusu-Anane is filling the stat sheet, adding 3.0 steals and 2.5 blocks per game. He and Kalu Anya are pulling down 4.5 offensive rebounds per game.
COUNT ON LILLY
Kino Lilly Jr. continues to show the offensive explosion we've been accustomed to seeing from the Maryland native as No. 10 is averaging 24.0 points and 4.5 three-pointers per contest. Lilly Jr. has 17 career 20-point games and his 15.3 points per game in a Bears uniform is tied for ninth most in program history (Harry Platt, 1937-39), ahead of color commentator and Brown Athletic Hall of Famer Russ Tyler '71 (15.1 points/game).
IT'S A BLOCK PARTY
Brown collected 10 blocked shots on Saturday, the most in a game since January 7, 2020 vs. Johnson and Wales. Brown is averaging 8.0 blocks per game, 10th most in NCAA Division I.
ALL-TIME SERIES
New Hampshire leads the series 27-24, but Brown got the better of the Wildcats last season in the Pizzitola Sports Center. The Bears defeated UNH 67-51 in a game that featured 31 combined points by Owusu-Anane and Lilly Jr. Kalu Anya added seven points, nine rebounds and four assists, and Aaron Cooley contributed seven points and six rebounds in the win.
It will be Brown's first time in Lundholm since January 8, 2015.
The Bears are 2-3 against New Hampshire under the leadership of head coach Mike Martin '04.
