Landon Lewis Named First Team All-Ivy

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Landon Lewis of the Brown men's basketball team has been named First Team All-Ivy, the Ivy League announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Lewis is the fourth Bear to be named First Team All-Ivy under Men's Basketball Head Coaching Chair Mike Martin '04. Lewis joins a list of Sean McGonagill '14 (2x: 2012-13 & 2013-14), Steven Spieth '17 (2016-17), and Kino Lilly Jr. '25 (3x: 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25) as the players to do so.
The Los Angeles, Calif. native led the Ivy League in scoring during conference play with 18.5 points per game and ranked second in rebounds per game (8.3) and field goal percentage (59.8). Overall, the senior ranked fourth in the Ivy League in field goal percentage (55.1), sixth in points per game (16.6), and fourth in rebounds per game (7.2). Lewis was also named Ivy League Player of the Week on Feb. 16.
Lewis scored in double figures in 19 out of 21 appearances this season and led the Bears in points per game (16.2), rebounds per game (7.2), and minutes per game (30.7). He recorded four double-doubles this season and five 20-point scoring efforts.
The captain recorded 30 points on two separate occasions this season. His first 30-point effort came against Harvard (Jan. 30), the senior shot 12-16 from the floor, 12 made field goals were a career-high. Lewis then netted 30 points at Dartmouth (Feb. 14), Lewis also made 12 field goals against the Big Green and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds. Lewis became the first Bear since Brandon Anderson '20 to record two 30-point scoring efforts in the same season.
Lewis finished his career with 38 double-digit scoring efforts, five double-doubles, and nine 20-point efforts. Lewis was also named Academic All-Ivy and will graduate in May with a degree in business economics.Â
