Field Hockey Heads to Penn for Ivy League Meeting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (6-9, 1-5 Ivy League) close out the 2023 campaign with a conference matchup against the Penn Quakers (6-8, 4-2 Ivy League) on Saturday in Philadelphia
Saturday's game is scheduled to begin at noon and will stream on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters Saturday's finale with a 6-9 overall record and 1-5 Ivy League mark. Brown most recently fell at Providence College, 3-1, in the non-conference finale.
- Lexi Pellegrino scored for the Bears in the loss to the Friars. She enters Saturday with three goals in the last two games and leads the team with seven goals this season. Senior Imogen Govan leads the team with nine assists and 15 points.
- Junior Ella Edmonds has started the last three games in goal for Brown and holds a 2.00 goals against average and .700 save percentage.
- First-year Kylee Del Monte holds a 1.49 goals against average and .753 save percentage in 12 starts this season.
- Penn enters the final weekend of the regular season with a 6-8 overall record and 4-2 Ivy League mark. The Quakers have clinched a spot in next weekend's inaugural Ivy League Tournament.
- Allison Kuzyk leads the Quakers with nine goals and 19 points this season. Livia Loozen ranks second on the team with five goals and 11 points. Five other Quakers have multiple goals this season.
- Frederique Wollaert has started all 14 games in goal for Penn and holds a 1.88 goals against average and .745 save percentage.
- Saturday's game marks the 46th meeting between Brown and Penn in a series dating back to 1977.
- Penn holds a 34-8-3 all-time record against Brown. The Bears look to snap an 11-game losing streak against the Quakers on Saturday.
