Women's Soccer Closes Road Slate with Visit to Cornell Saturday

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Brown women's soccer team (9-1-2, 5-0 Ivy) looks for its fourth consecutive Ivy League Championship on Saturday at 1 p.m. when they visit Cornell (4-3-6, 0-3-2 Ivy). With a win, Brown wins the outright Ivy League Championship for a league-leading 16th time and become the first conference team to four-peat since 1990 (also Brown).
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ from Berman Field.

Scouting the #11 Bears (8-1-2, 4-0-0 Ivy)
- Brown was ranked No. 11 by the NCAA Soccer Division I Committee, released for the first time on Thursday.
- Additionally, Brown received a No. 15 national ranking by TopDrawerSoccer.com and the United Soccer Coaches.
- The Bears sit at No. 7 in the RPI rankings.
- Having clinched a playoff spot in last week's 1-0 victory at Columbia, Brown would four-peat for the first time since 1990. Brown is the only Ivy League women's soccer program to four-peat.
- Brittany Raphino won back-to-back-to-back Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the lone goal in last week's win, and was featured in the Ivy League Insights Podcast.
- A first-time Defensive Player of the Week award winner, senior Clare Gagne won the weekly Ivy League honor after four saves and a shutout against the Lions. On the year, Gagne has 25 saves, a .048 goals against average, and a .833 save percentage on the year.
- Brown is 24-0-2 in its last 26 Ivy League contests.
- Saturday is Senior Day for Cornell.
- Last year, Cornell fell to Brown, 2-0, in Providence, R.I., after the Bears received goals from Ava Seelenfreund (24th minute) and Lucinda Anderson (76th minute). Bella Schopp earned the clean sheet for the Bears as she stopped Cornell's lone shot on target for the game.
- Brown is 31-7-4 all-time against Cornell, including 11 straight victories. Since 2009, the Bears are 12-0-1 vs. the Big Red.
