Men's Soccer Hosts Penn in Pivotal Ivy League Match

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown men's soccer resumes Ivy League play and are looking for a positive result against Penn on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The Bears are in the mix for the Ivy League tournament with a 1-0-2 conference record, which is good for a share of second place. Penn, who was voted as the preseason favorites, is a point behind with a 1-1-1 record in the league.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online at BrownBears.com/tickets prior to their arrival at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Fans should either download their digital tickets to display on a mobile device or print them at home prior to arrival.
Saturday is the Breast Cancer Awareness Game and Family Weekend.

- Brown is coming off a 2-1 victory in a non-league game at UMass Lowell. Senior Charlie Adams scored both goals, while sophomore Jamin Gogo Peters picked up the assist on the game winner.
- The Bears are unbeaten in their last six matches and have not allowed more than one goal in their last seven games.
- Brown leads the conference with 18 assists, is second with 48 points, and third in the league with 15 total goals.
- Senior Kojo Dadzie is third in the Ivy League with six goals, while senior Charlie Adams is tied for seventh.
- Penn is the defending Ivy League champions and were selected in the preseason poll to repeat.
- This season the Quakers are 3-3-4 and 1-1-1 in the Ivy League, currently sitting in fifth in the standings.
- Penn has an impressive win this season over No. 14 Penn State, 3-0, in early September.
- Junior Staz Korzeniowski leads the team with four goals and three assists, while senior Michael Hewes has four goals and one assist.
- In goal, senior Nick Christoffersen leads the Ivy League in goals against average (.800), save percentage (.771) and shutouts (4).
