Women's water polo returns to conference play for the weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo will play four games this weekend as conference play picks back up for the Bears. Brown will play two games at Harvard on Saturday (April 9), before returning home for two games on Sunday (April 10).
On Saturday, Brown will take on No. 7 Michigan at 9:30 a.m. and will battle Saint Francis at 1:30 p.m. On Sunday, the Bears will host Bucknell beginning at 9 a.m. and will close the weekend taking on No. 21 Princeton at 1 p.m. All four games will be streamed on ESPN+.
ABOUT THE BEARS
Brown comes into the weekend with a 21-10 overall record and a 5-2 mark in conference play. The Bears are on a two-game winning streak and have won eight of their last nine games. The Bears are ranked No. 22 in the latest CWPA Women's Varsity Top 25 poll.
Zoe King leads the team with 56 goals and 89 total points, handing out 33 assists, which is second-best on the team. Against Biola, King tied the program record with nine points, scoring six goals and dishing out three assists. King also leads the team with 49 steals.
Claire Pisani is second on the team with 51 goals and has drawn a team-high 94 exclusions on the year.
Katie Klein leads the team with 36 assists and has added 26 goals.
In goal, Marley Presiado leads the squad with 159 saves and Shawna Franke is second on the team with 109.
The Bears will be playing all four teams this weekend for the second time this year. Brown won the matchups earlier this year against Bucknell (12-7) and Saint Francis (7-3) but dropped the games to Princeton (6-12) and Michigan (5-14).
