Track Back in Action at Pair of Southern Meets

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – One week after the throwers opened up their outdoor season, several members of the Brown track and field programs will head to a pair of meets down south this weekend to compete on the outdoor track for the first time this season. Three runners will compete at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday and Friday, hosted by NC State, while a group of sprinters and jumpers will head to the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational at the University of Miami for a meet on Saturday.

Brown will be sending five student-athletes down to South Florida for the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational. The group of sprinters and jumpers – Lily Dumas (HJ, 100H), Jada Joseph (LJ), Daryn Davis (TJ, 100H), Lauren Yeboah-Kodie (TJ, 100H), and Sydney Scott (LJ, 100m) – will compete throughout the one-day event on Saturday afternoon.
