- Paolillo, along with senior Lizzy Gross both finished the game with a goal and an assist apiece. Sophomore Madie Stockfish also had a two-point game with a pair of assists.
- Grad student Megan Forrest also tallied an assist, coming on Carman's game-tying marker.
- Sophomore Kaley Doyle made 30 saves in net for the Bears.
- Dartmouth finished the game outshooting Brown 33-31.
- Brown successfully killed off all three of its shorthanded situations.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dartmouth jumped on the board first at 7:08 of the first period when CC Bowlby deflected a wrist shot in front of the net.
- Brown was not behind for long as Gross provided the quick response, jumping on a loose puck in front and tying the game 1-1 just 19 seconds later at 7:27.
- Dartmouth took the lead back late in a fast-moving second period when Jenna Donohue took a centering pass ad slid it five-hole at exactly the 18:00 minute mark of the period to carry a 2-1 lead into the second intermission.
- Dartmouth extended the lead to 3-1 with a goal just as a Brown penalty expired at the 3:28 mark when Bowlby scored her second of the game on a rebound.
- Brown mounted a comeback with two huge goals just 49 seconds apart to tie the game. At 5:55 of the period, Stockfish sent a shot towards goal that was rebounded by Gross, then Paolillo jumped on the loose rebound and knocked it into the net to cut the deficit to 3-2.
- Carman followed less than a minute later by sending a wrister towards net from just inside the blue line that deflected off the goaltender's glove and into the net to knot the score at three with 13:16 left in regulation.
- Brown outshot Dartmouth 7-3 in the extra 3-on-3 stanza, but couldn't crack the scoreboard resulting in their third tie of the season.
- "The team started off a little shaky on defense, but we cleaned it up after the first period and started to take over the game. We knew Dartmouth had some offensive fire power and we weathered the storm when we needed to and then got rolling with all three lines creating chances in a variety of ways."
- "Coming back from down two goals is a first for us in what has been a stretch of growth moments for the team. There is a level of belief and pride in the room that wasn't there earlier in the season. Our staff is so proud of the fight in our women. What I appreciate most was to see the disappointment in the room after the game. They want and expect to win. This is a team on the rise."
- "Every point matters at this stage in the season. The reality is points lost in the first half hurt you just as much as those in the final weekends. We will grind it out and make up as much ground as we can to get in the top eight. This team could be a fun one to watch in the postseason."
