Women's lacrosse travels to Holy Cross Tuesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will travel to Holy Cross for its first road game of the 2022 season this Tuesday, March 1 at 5 p.m.
The Bears are coming off a tough contest against defending national champion No. 1 Boston College and will be looking to put together one more solid effort before Ivy League play begins later in the week. The Crusaders fell to Harvard their last time out.

- Brown fell to BC 15-9, but the six-goal deficit was the smallest of the season for the defending champs. The Eagles had won their previous four games by margins of nine, 17, 16, and seven, with three of those matchups coming against ranked opponents.
- Claire Jeshcke continues to lead the team with 11 points on the year after posting a one goal, three assist showing in two games last week. Leah Caputo led the Bears with five points over the two games with three goals and two assists and is second on the team with nine points on the year.
- Erin Tucker made 13 saves against the Eagles and has 33 on the season for a .465 save percentage.
- Jolie Creo posted a team-high four points in the loss to the Crimson from three goals and one assist. She leads the team with 11 points on the season from eight goals and three assists.
- As a team, the Crusaders have completed 46 clears on 60 attempts for a .767 success rate.
- Grace Flink has started all three games in goal for Holy Cross, posting a 12.36 goals against average and a .382 save percentage.
- Brown leads the all-time series against the Crusaders at 20-2 and has taken the last six meetings between the two sides.
- The last time the Bears took on Holy Cross was in 2020 and resulted in a 14-11 Brown victory.
- In the game, Sophia DeRosa and Maggie Fowler had hat tricks and Alaina Parisella scored twice. Tucker made 10 saves to earn the win.
