
Women’s Lacrosse Hosts No. 25 Cornell to Open Ivy League Play on Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's lacrosse team (1-3) will open Ivy League play when it welcomes Cornell (3-2) on Saturday afternoon at Stevenson-Pincince Field, the opening draw control is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Saturday is Brown's Faculty & Staff Appreciation Game. All faculty and staff receive free entry by scanning their Brown ID at the gate. You can also claim three additional complimentary guest tickets here.
Scouting Brown
Ruby Sliwkowski leads Brown in goals (12), assists (5), points (17), shots (22), and shots on goal (17). Sliwkowski ranks seventh in the Ivy League in points per game (3.0) and ninth in points per game (4.25) and shots per game (5.5).
Tessie Batchelder (9) ranks second on the Bears in points while Caroline Nozzolillo and Adele Atherton are behind Batchelder in points (8). Nozzolillo and Atherton sit second on the Bears in goals (6).
Mackenzie Conway leads the Ivy League in ground balls per game (3.2). She also ranks second in the Ivy League in saves per game (8.5) and fourth in save percentage (.480).
Scouting Cornell
Ellie Bergin leads the Big Red in goals (11), points (12), shots (20), and shots on goal (16). Mackenzie Clark ranks fourth in the Ivy League in goals against average (7.62) and fifth in save percentage (.436). Caitlin Tully ranks third in the Ivy League in caused turnovers per game (1.8).
History
Brown is 17-25 all-time against Cornell. Last season, the Big Red claimed a 16-14 win over the Bears.
