Women's water polo at Santa Clara for weekend tournament

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo will play four games over the weekend at the Santa Clara Spring Invitational. The Bears will play two games on Saturday (Feb. 19) and two games on Sunday (Feb. 20).

ABOUT BROWN
The Bears come into the weekend with a 5-5 record on the season. Brown won four of the six games at the Bruno Classic the last time the Bears took the pool, but dropped its last two games of the tournament.
Zoe King leads the offense with 21 goals on the season and is second on the team with 11 goals. King also leads the defense with 15 steals.
Claire Pisani is second on the team with 15 goals and has drawn a team-high 28 exclusions.
Both Lily Weiser (12) and Sierra Martin (11) have also tallied double-figure goals this year. Katie Klein is tops on the team with 12 assists.
In goal, Shauna Franke leads the team with 45 saves and earned Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week after her performance at the Bruno Classic. Marley Presiado is second on the squad with 41 saves.
