Bears to Host Pair of Nationally Ranked Foes this Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Off to their best start in over two decades, the unbeaten Brown women's hockey team is set to host No. 13/14 Princeton and No. 4 Quinnipiac this weekend at Meehan Auditorium.
Brown will welcome Princeton on Friday evening at 6 p.m., followed by Quinnipiac at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, both on ESPN+.

After this weekend's two games, Brown will hit the road for a two-game road trip to Penn State next Sunday and Monday, Nov. 13 and 14.

SCOUTING BROWN (3-0-1, 2-0-0 ECAC)
- Brown is unbeaten through its first four games for the first time since the 1998-99 season, when they were unbeaten through their first six games (3-0-3).
- This marks the first time Brown has won three of its first four games since starting the 1994-95 season 3-0-1, which was part of a larger 12-0-2 start.
- After tying and beating Stonehill at home to start the season, the Bears swept their first two ECAC games last weekend at Dartmouth (2-1) and Harvard (2-1 OT)
- Juniors Maya Mangiafico and Jess Ciarrocchi, along with freshman Jade Iginla all have three points apiece through the first four games, with sophomore Anna Hurd and Iginla leading the way with two goals each.
- Brown is outshooting their opponents by an average of 33.0-27.5, and holding opponents to just 1.3 goals per game.
- Sophomore goaltender Kaley Doyle ranks fourth in the ECAC with a .956 save percentage and ranks third with 29.0 saves per contest.
- Overall, 10 different Bears have picked up at least one point, including four players who weren't on last season's roster.
SCOUTING PRINCETON (0-2-0, 0-2-0 ECAC)
- Princeton opened its season last weekend by jumping right into the gauntlet that is the very tough ECAC schedule with a pair of losses to then-No. 4 Colgate (5-1) and then-No. 8/9 Cornell (3-1).
- Sarah Fillier and Emerson O'Leary have scored the Tigers' two goals through the first two games, with Mia Coene, Maggie Connors and Katherine Khramtsov all tallying assists.
- Two of the Tigers eight goals allowed this season have come while shorthanded.
- Princeton is outshooting its opponents 31.0-27.0.
SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC (9-0-0, 3-0-0 ECAC)
- The Bobcats moved up to No. 4 in the country in both national polls this week, and received one first-place vote in the USCHO Poll.
- QU will play at Yale on Friday before traveling to face Brown on Saturday.
- The Bobcats enter the weekend leading the ECAC in several categories, including goals per game (4.22), assists per game (6.67), points per game (10.89), and goals allowed per game (0.78).
- Olivia Mobley has 13 points, tied with her teammate and former Brown captain Shay Maloney '22 for sixth in the ECAC.
- In her first year with QU as a grad transfer, Maloney has six goals and seven assists, including a hat trick against Saint Anselm on October 7.
- Lexie Adzija leads the conference with four power play goals.
- Grad student Logan Angers has started six games between the pipes and holds a .947 save percentage and a 0.99 GAA.
