PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Naya Cardoza of the Brown women's soccer team has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
Cardoza was a huge part of the Brown defense that allowed Penn to take just a single shot, zero on goal, during a 1-0 win over the Quakers.
This is the second straight Rookie of the Week award for the Bears after Bella Schopp earned the honor last week.
Cardoza and the Bears will look to secure their third straight Ivy League title when they take on Yale this Saturday, Nov. 5 at 4 p.m. at Stevenson-Pincince Field.
