Women's Rugby to Host Harvard on Senior Day Saturday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (3-2-1) host the Harvard Crimson (4-1) in the final home game of the 2022 regular season at Marvel Field this Saturday (Oct. 22).
Saturday's match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and will stream on ESPN+. Brown will recognize its four seniors prior to the game. In addition to Senior Day recognition, Brown Women's Rugby will honor the life and legacy of Kathy Flores on the field following the match.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters Friday with a 3-2-1 overall record after the team's three-game win streak came to an end last weekend at Army.
- With two tries against LIU, junior Noelle Lewis leads the Bears with eight tries on the season. Four other Bears have recorded multiple tries in 2022: Akilah Cathey (6), Nikki Lynch (5), Mahdia Parker (4), and Morgan Cunningham (2).
- Freshman Julia Murray leads the Bears in the kicking game with 15 conversions. Erin Jessop (3) and Kendall Cunningham (1) have also hit conversions on the season.
- Defensively, Brown has held opponents to 24 or less points in 4-of-5 matches this season and have held opponents scoreless twice.
- Harvard enters the weekend with a 4-1 NIRA record after opening the campaign with four straight victories before falling last weekend at home against Dartmouth. The Crimson claimed wins over Quinnipiac (48-19), Mount St. Mary's (95-7), Princeton (102-0), and Sacred Heart (27-5) before falling 31-29 to the Big Green.
- Lennox London and Cameron Fields lead the Crimson offensively with eight and seven tries, respectively. Chloe Headland and Victoria Stanley are tied for third on the team with six tries apiece.
- Brogan Mior has nine conversions through five games to lead Harvard.
- As a team, the Crimson average 62.2 points scored per game while allowing just 12.4 points per game.
- Saturday marks the eighth meeting in the series since Brown made the jump to varsity status in 2014. Brown won the first two meetings in 2014 and 2015, but Harvard has taken the last five, most recently defeating Brown 60-8 a season ago.
