
Men's soccer travels to #16 Penn

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men's soccer team will travel to No. 16 Penn this Saturday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. to continue Ivy League action.
Last week, the Bears tied Harvard 0-0 for their second Ivy draw of the season. The Quakers improved to 3-0 in league action with a 3-2 victory over then-No. 15/16 Cornell.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (6-3-2, 0-1-2 Ivy)
- Weiper, the reigning Ivy Rookie of the Week, leads all Ivy goalkeepers with a .805 save percentage. He is second with a .89 goals against average.
- As a team, the Bears' goals against average of .91 is second in the conference. Their six shutouts are an Ivy high.
- Jamin Gogo Peters and Kojo Dadzie continue the lead the team in points and goals. Gogo Peters has posted four goals and nine points, while Dadzie is at three goals and seven points.
- Penn finished last season's Ivy schedule at 1-4-2, but have turned things around this season by winning their first three conference contests.
- The Quakers' only loss on the year was a 1-0 defeat at UAlbany back on Sept. 9. Since then, they have gone 8-0-1.
- Penn's 32 goals on the year, good for a 2.67 per game average, leads the Ivy League and is fifth in the nation.
- Brown leads the all-time series against Penn at 34-25-8. The last five meetings have been split evenly at 2-2-1.
- In 2021, the Bears earned a 2-0 victory in Providence thanks to a pair of goals from Paul Elliott and Owen Schwartz.
