PRINCETON, N.J. - Three members of the Brown men's soccer team, headlined by First Team All-Ivy selection James Snaith, were honored with postseason awards as announced by the Ivy League on Wednesday afternoon.
Joining Snaith in receiving All-Ivy recognition is junior forward Lorenzo Amaral and junior midfielder/defender Mathias Hille, who earned Second Team nods. Hille was also tabbed Academic All-Ivy.
Hailing from Arlington, Va., Snaith appeared in all 15 matches for the Bears, starting in 14. He totaled 1,265 minutes in the 2025 season. Snaith remained aggressive on the pitch, helping create scoring opportunities for Brown while minimizing their opponents'. He scored his first collegiate goal last season in Brown's 5-3 win over Stonehill on Sept. 21. Snaith is the first player to earn First Team honors since midfielder Kojo Dadzie in 2023.
Amaral earns his third All-Ivy recognition after being named to the First Team in 2024, and an Honorable Mention in 2023. The Orlando, Fla. native concluded the 2025 campaign leading Brown in scoring for the second consecutive season. Amaral closed out this year with two goals and five assists for nine points. He was tabbed Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 22 after a four-point game against UMass Lowell on Sept. 20. Prior to the start of the 2025 season, Amaral was named to the United Soccer Coaches Division I Men's Forwards to Watch List.
Hille claims his first All-Ivy honor after remaining a key player in Brown's starting XI. Hille started in all 15 matches for the Bears this season, totaling 1,344 minutes of playing time on the year. The Frankfurt, Germany native, and transfer from Northeastern earned his first point as a Bear in Brown's season-opening win against Holy Cross. Hille was also named Academic All-Ivy for his commitment on the pitch and in the classroom, and is earning his degree in finance.
