Brown women's soccer freshman forward Miya Grant-Clavijo has been named to Canada Soccer's U-20 Women's National Team January identification camp roster, as announced by Canada Soccer Friday.
The camp will take place in Markham, Ontario and will be Canada Soccer's second youth camp in back-to-back months following a 10-day Women's U-17 identification camp in Mexico in December. The January camp will be led by Women's U-20 National Team Coach Cindy Tye.
Both camps continue Canada's early preparations for next year's 2022 Concacaf Women's Under-17 Championship and 2022 Concacaf Women's Under-20 Championship in the Dominican Republic.
Grant-Clavijo was third on Brown during the 2021 season with four goals and was fifth with nine points. Both marks led all Bear freshmen. The Toronto, Ontario native recorded two game-winning goals during her rookie campaign in Providence, notching the decisive strikes against Rhode Island and Northeastern.
