
Track and Field to Compete at Beantown Challenge this Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown track and field programs will return to action this weekend for the first time in 2022 after a break for the holidays when they will compete at the Beantown Challenge, hosted by Harvard at the Gordon Indoor Track.
The event will feature Brown, Harvard, UConn, UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, Boston College (men) and Stonehill.
The women's pentathlon will compete on Friday and the men's heptathlon will also hold its first four events on Friday. Saturday's action will get underway at 9:30 a.m. with the continuation of the heptathlon. Throwing events will get underway at 10 a.m., followed by jumping events at 11 a.m. and running events at 1 p.m.
Spectators will not be able to attend the meet in person, however the meet will be streamed live starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday on ESPN+. Live results will also be available.
