PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (4-14-0, 4-8-0 ECAC) host the ninth-ranked Cornell Big Red (13-4-3, 8-2-3 ECAC) Tuesday afternoon at Meehan Auditorium.

Tuesday's game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+ in the United States and through Stretch Internet internationally.

SCOUTING THE BEARS

Brown enters Tuesday with a 4-14-0 overall record and 4-8-0 ECAC conference mark. The Bears sit in 10th in the conference standings with 13 league points.
Brown fell 6-1 at Princeton last Friday (Jan. 28) before dropping a 4-3 non-conference game to LIU on Sunday (Jan. 30) at Meehan Auditorium.
Senior forwards Justin Jallen and Michael Maloney lead the team with five goals apiece. Jallen leads the team in assists alongside junior defensemen Luke Krys and Samuli Niinisaari. Jallen, a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, leads the team with 11 points.
Between the pipes, Mathieu Caron leads Brown netminders with a 3.18 goals against average, a .902 save percentage, and two shutouts.

SCOUTING THE BIG RED

Cornell enters Tuesday's game with a 13-4-3 overall record and 8-2-3 ECAC conference mark and rank 11th in the nation per the DCU/USCHO.com poll.
The Big Red skated to consecutive 2-2 ties last weekend at Lynah Rink in conference games against Harvard and Dartmouth. Cornell lost both shootouts to miss out on the extra league point.
Matt Stienburg leads the team with nine goals and 21 points. He ranks fifth in the NCAA with 1.31 points per game.
Cornell's offense as a whole averages 3.50 goals per game to rank second in the ECAC and eighth in the NCAA.
Cornell is strong defensively, allowing 2.30 goals per game to rank second in the conference and 12th in the nation.
Ian Shane leads Cornell netminders with a 1.62 goals against average and a .937 save percentage. His save percentage ranks third and goals against average ranks fifth in the NCAA.

INSIDE THE SERIES

Tuesday afternoon marks the 135th meeting between Brown and Cornell in a series dating back to 1959.
Cornell holds a 83-43-8 record against Brown in the series, but only a 33-25-4 record at Meehan Auditorium.
